Rapid Prototyping an Entire Band Universe
I used a suite of generative AI tools to concept, create, and launch a complete media band, Kintsugi Dialectic, from scratch. This project proves a strategic, AI-augmented workflow can build and distribute a market-ready media product (a 7-song EP) in weeks, not months.

This began as a strategic challenge: Could a single creative director build an entire, market-ready media brand using only generative AI? No team, no studio, no budget. The goal was to test the limits of AI in executing a complete brand launch, from name and narrative to product creation, visual identity, and multi-channel distribution.
Project Overview
Just my strategic framework, my prompt library, and a suite of AI tools. I architected an end-to-end workflow to create the band "Kintsugi Dialectic" and their 7-song EP, "Echoes of the Broken." This isn't just an art project; it's a real-world test of AI's power to build a cohesive brand universe and deploy it at scale.



From initial mood boards and artist concepts generated in Gemini to polished album art and video storyboards from Midjourney, the process was one of strategic iteration. I directed the AI to build a consistent visual language based on the core brand theme of "finding beauty in imperfection," ensuring every asset felt like it belonged to the Kintsugi Dialectic world.
Why a Music Band/Brand??
A "band" is the ultimate creative product test. It requires a complete brand ecosystem: a core philosophy (the 'why'), a name and identity, a core product (music), a visual system (album art), and marketing assets (music videos).
By building a music brand, I demonstrated a scalable model for any product launch. This same workflow can be used to rapidly prototype and launch a new software product, a DTC brand, or a full-scale content marketing campaign, proving market viability before committing significant resources.



The AI Stack in Action
Here's the toolkit I used to build the entire brand:

Gemini: For core brand strategy, band name, thematic concepts, lyrical direction, and video storyboarding.

Suno AI: For generating the 7-song EP. This was not a passive process; I directed the AI with technical prompts specifying time signatures, lyrical placement cues (using parentheses), and structural changes to guide the composition.

Midjourney / OpenArt AI: For generating all visual assets: album art, brand identity, and the keyframes/stills for all five music videos.

Logic Pro: For professional audio post-production. I exported the raw stems from Suno AI and then meticulously mixed and mastered them in Logic Pro to achieve a final, broadcast-quality sound.

Video & Distribution Tools: Final Cut Pro, and using AI-assisted video editors to animate the still images and deploying the final "product" to global platforms



The Output: The "We Are" EP
I began the process by generating the audio in Suno, then exported the individual stems (vocals, bass, drums, etc.) for full post-production. Each track was professionally mixed and mastered in Logic Pro (by me) to ensure a high-fidelity, market-ready "product."
Only after the audio was final did I direct the AI to create visual stories. Each video was built from AI-generated still images, animated using guided prompts to create a coherent and compelling narrative that matched the final audio.


Global Distribution & Market Test
The final step was to treat this like a real product launch. The full EP was successfully packaged and distributed to the world's largest music platforms, proving the viability of the AI-generated "product." The brand's music video ecosystem is live on YouTube.
Visual Storytelling

Each visual had a strategic job. The band's name, "Kintsugi Dialectic," refers to the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery, making it more beautiful.
I directed the AI to create visuals that reflected this: vast, broken landscapes, fractured imagery, and a sense of finding clarity in desolation. These aren't just pretty pictures; they are a strategically-guided visual narrative designed to give the AI-generated music emotional depth and a cohesive brand story.
