At Code for Fun, I worked alongside former Facebook VPs to help children learn coding at an early age. As a nonprofit, we faced unique challenges in fundraising and securing donations, , but I developed engaging and

innovative designs that portrayed the organization as forward-thinking and cutting-edge. By creating compelling content and campaigns, we not only attracted donors but also fostered enthusiasm for coding in young minds. I played a key role in shaping the brand to reflect its mission, helping secure essential funds to expand our reach and impact in underserved communities.
Course Icon Design
I designed uniform course icons that ensured consistency across the entire catalog of offerings. These icons were created to be visually appealing while maintaining a cohesive look that aligned with the brand’s identity. The uniformity of the design helped to create a professional and polished appearance, making it easier for users to navigate and engage with the diverse range of coding courses available. This approach not only enhanced the user experience but also reinforced the brand’s forward-thinking and educational focus.
Non Profit Campaigns
I developed and executed content strategies for nonprofit fundraising, including impactful Giving Tuesday campaigns. These efforts were crucial to driving donations and support for our mission of teaching kids to code. I crafted compelling narratives and engaging visuals that highlighted our work and the transformative impact coding education had on young learners. By leveraging these storytelling techniques, we were able to inspire donors and secure the funds necessary to continue offering our programs. These campaigns not only raised awareness but also strengthened our relationships with existing supporters, ensuring the longevity of our nonprofit initiatives.
CS League
A year after my initial work with Code for Fun, the team reconnected with me to help launch the CS League, a new initiative aimed at promoting coding competitions and education. I developed the logo, designed a tier system, and created icons to represent different levels of achievement. Additionally, I implemented a color-coded path system to guide participants through various learning tracks. The branding and design work for CS League has remained a core part of the initiative, helping to structure and engage participants while reinforcing the visual identity of this innovative coding league that continues to thrive today.

Print Marketing
I designed eye-catching flyers, CMYK content, and pamphlets for schools, along with magazine spreads and ads, all aimed at promoting our programs and initiatives to students, educators, and donors.
Website & Social Media Banners
I designed forward-thinking website and social media banners that struck a balance between engaging kids and appealing to parents. The designs were colorful, fun, and visually engaging to capture the attention of the younger audience, while also including clear, persuasive messaging aimed at parents. These banners highlighted the benefits of coding camps and after-school programs, using enticing visuals and copy to encourage sign-ups. By creating content that resonated with both demographics, I helped drive enrollment and increased visibility for our educational offerings.
Video Content
I utilized various video formats and aspect ratios to create engaging content that resonated with both new clients and donors. By crafting videos in formats optimized for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook, I ensured that each piece was tailored to its audience and platform, maximizing reach and engagement. Whether it was storytelling videos for potential donors or promotional content for new programs, the use of diverse video formats allowed us to connect with a wider audience and convey our message in an impactful way.
