eBook & Software Marketing

AI Content Strategy in Action

I used AI tools to build a complete content marketing campaign for software and eBooks, from branded mockups to messaging and vertical video, proving what one strategist can do with vision and the right stack.

This case study started as a creative challenge to myself: could I build a full-scale content marketing campaign for digital products, like a SaaS tool or eBook, using only AI? No agency. No budget. No deadlines.

Project Overview

Just me, my toolkit, and the open brief. I built an entire visual story system from scratch using AI-generated mockups, cinematic brand environments, and automated content workflows. It’s not a client piece. It’s a proof of concept that shows what’s possible when you blend brand strategy with creative tech.

Going from text or just the graphics on the box to full video in a prompt is difficult for AI, not to mention the issues with text. I first tried to use the graphic box, and in an image it wasn't too bad, but the minute I moved that image to a video prompt the text on the box would get bad! Really bad. Because of this, I had the original graphics I created for the boxes alone, and removed the text and then just used the images. I then used a prompt for a white box, took those and used Photoshop to wrap the boxes with the design and not the text, and took those to image to video prompts and created the final content.

Why Software & eBooks?

I’ve worked with digital products across industries, and I know firsthand how hard it is to stand out in those crowded spaces. Software and eBooks are often marketed like commodities, but they’re deeply personal purchases, tools for change, learning, efficiency, transformation. I wanted to see how I could visually represent that emotional context using AI. So I dropped a minimal eBook into a forest, onto a beach, in the middle of a desert, each setting designed to reflect a specific mindset or outcome. The visuals became metaphors. The product became a journey.

AI Tools in Action

Here’s what I used to build it all:

  • OpenArt.ai for stylized product photography and surreal, campaign-ready backgrounds with blank boxes

  • Photoshop for polish, color correction, and to add the graphics covers on the blank boxes

  • ChatGPT to generate overlay copy, prompting optimization, and general content

  • Hailou.ai to create motion videos from the images

Every image, every word, every frame was AI-assisted, but direction, pacing, and tone? That was all me.

Output Renders

I always begin the process by generating a high-quality still image. Starting with video-to-text generation often leads to frustrating errors, increased costs, and wasted time. Static image rendering is faster, more controllable, and significantly more cost-effective. Once I’ve locked in a compelling base image, I upscale it, typically 2x or 4x, for maximum clarity and detail.

From there, I use image-to-video tools with guided prompts to animate the scene. This method produces more stable and coherent motion, especially when combined with controlled camera movements and carefully refined prompt instructions. It’s not just about creating motion, it’s about crafting motion with intent and visual integrity.

Social Ads

Once I had the core motion assets locked in, I brought everything into CapCut to quickly adapt them for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other short-form platforms. The goal wasn’t perfection, it was speed, rhythm, and scroll-stopping visuals. Below are two rapid-fire ad concepts I built in minutes, showing just how efficiently AI-generated assets can be turned into platform-ready creative.

Visual Storytelling
with Strategy

Each mockup had a job to do. I wasn’t just creating pretty placeholders, I was telling stories with every environment. A desert scene suggests clarity and simplicity.

A foggy forest speaks to inner growth or evergreen knowledge. A sunrise at the ocean signals peace, rest, and readiness. These visuals were created intentionally, to support targeted messaging. I

Results & Takeaways

Here’s what this project confirmed for me:

  • AI makes it possible for one person to build agency-quality content at speed

  • Environment-driven branding makes intangible products feel real and grounded

  • A single asset can be repurposed into dozens of micro-campaigns with smart framing

  • The emotional layer of marketing is what makes the tech stick, and AI doesn’t kill that, it amplifies it when directed with purpose

More than anything, this showed me that good strategy doesn’t need big crews, just vision, tools, and clarity.
